About two months ago, I was in Florida visiting my father-in-law who mentioned that he had fresh key limes. The baker in me immediately concluded that it was time for me to make key lime pie, and I must say, it was quite a nice pie….and my first batch! I am here in southern Florida once again and happy to report that the key limes are still in season. I am about to pick some and bring them back to New York City with me.
